As a teenager he was conflicted about his use of the N-word and how it affected his relationship with his peers, but through the guidance of a few caring “visitors” on a snowy Christmas Eve in 1997, Samuel was challenged to re-examine his life in order to gain a new perspective on what it means to be young, gifted and black.
